Nugegoda, March 7th 2014: Associated Motorways (Pvt) Ltd, announced today the opening of their latest venture, a multi brand showroom in the heart of Nugegoda. Ceremoniously declared open by AMW’s Managing Director Samantha Rajapaksa, the new branch is the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. Located on Highlevel Road, the showroom is designed to bring all of AMW’s signature brands under one roof for the convenience of its loyal customers. The opening is one of the first of many festivities planned for this year as AMW marks it’s 65th year in the automotive industry.
Nugegoda has grown to a major metropolitan area, recording high density housing and commercial activities with a high growth rate in recent times. It has also developed into an important central point, linking a string of smaller towns in the region and joining it to the Colombo city. The opening of the Southern Expressway and the rising vehicle density in the area was among the primary reasons for AMW selecting Nugegoda as the ideal location for a showroom that would house all their brands.
Among the brands that will be available at the new showroom are Nissan, Yamaha, Renault, Suzuki Maruti, Suzuki, Piaggio, Good Year, Castrol and BP among others. Adding a further dimension of convenience, customers will also be able to obtain leasing services at the same facility through AMW Capital Leasing.
In keeping with AMW’s promise of “bringing the world to you”, the company is truly putting in to practice this philosophy through a long-term strategy of such multi-brand showrooms around the island, of which Nugegoda is the first. Nugegoda will also make room for another one of AMW’s successful commercial ventures, Automall. This will ensure that customers looking for either brand new or second-hand vehicles can make their pick at one location with the least amount of hassle. AMW being a name in the automobile industry synonymous with quality, reliability and value will also mean a positive experience for each customer that walks in through the doors of the new showroom.
Speaking on the occasion of the opening, AMW’s Managing Director Samantha Rajapaksa noted, “AMW is synonymous in Sri Lanka with the world’s best automotive brands and offering the best service levels in the market. In keeping with our brand promise of BRINGING THE WORLD TO YOU we plan on rolling out this multiband concept that brings the entire AMW brand portfolio and our service excellence under one roof throughout the island as part of our constant efforts to serve our valued customers better.”
The Nugegoda multi-brand showroom will be open from Monday – Saturday from 9am – 6pm for the convenience of its customers.
