Asian Alliance Insurance PLC, that is part of the Softlogic Group, is delighted to announce that it was awarded Silver in the “Insurance Category” with a further Silver Award for Overall Excellence in the “Large Companies Category” at the ‘National Business Excellence Awards 2014' which was held at the Colombo Hilton Grand Ballroom on the 16^th of December 2014, amidst an eminent gathering of top corporate personalities. 

The National Business Excellence Awards is an annual award competition conducted by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) with a view to recognizing business enterprises which have demonstrated excellence in their fields of business, whilst contributing to the economic progress of the country. The goal of the awarding criteria is to recognize and reward those organizations that have excelled in all-round performances such as corporate governance, capacity building, performance management, global & local market reach, corporate social responsibilities and environmental sustainability. The main objective of the competition is to position Sri Lanka as a country with excellently managed organizations and thereby making it attractive for joint ventures, investments and as a source for high quality and reliable products and services.
