The Insurance Kiosk will streamline the path for customers, providing services such as quotations, payments, renewals, new policies and claims thus making all insurance services available via a vending machine. Customers could make all payments related to their motor insurance by credit card at this kiosk.
“We want to change the way customers think of insurance and by deploying a kiosk that delivers motor insurance in seconds, we aim to meet and exceed expectations for a fast, simple and above all convenient way to find and pay for insurance,” explained Asian Alliance General Insurance, Director/CEO, Ramal Jasinghe.

“Our kiosks offer customers an insurance store in a box,” Jasinghe  noted while adding that customers could use it to receive a quotation, make payments, renewals and everything related to their insurance, thereby providing top-notch customer experience.

Director General of Insurance Board of Sri Lanka (IBSL), Damayanthi Fernando, speaking at the launch noted that such innovative ideas can help the growth of the country’s insurance industry.

“This is a very innovative venture and I congratulate Asian Alliance Insurance on behalf of the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka,” she said. “Innovation is essential for business excellence. These kinds of ideas will help to move the insurance industry forward in terms of growth of business, higher penetration levels etc.  Therefore, it is high-time the industry looked at more technologically-driven business models in an era where the younger generation is very tech savvy”.

The kiosk comes complete with intuitive touch-screen interface for selection and payment. The machine can deliver an accurate quote instantly.
