The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the organizers of the ‘Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award 2016’ will close applications for the contest on the 07th October, 2016.

The annual event, which recognizes the sustainability champions of the corporate world has already seen heavy demand from the local corporate sector to take part in this year’s competition. Nearly 100 top corporate executives took part in the pre-briefing seminar of the competition held in July.

Conducted for the 13th consecutive year, the ‘Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award 2016’ will present a galaxy of awards to recognize the best performers of corporate sustainability initiatives in Sri Lanka, starting from the ‘Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Award 2016’, Top ten corporates, Category awards, sector awards to top performers for key sectors of the economy and The Best Presented Application etc.

In addition to the main awards, the competition will also recognize exemplary projects carried out by companies relating to Planet and People such as Education, Community services etc. The awards giving ceremony will take place on the 24th November, 2016 in Colombo.
