Elephant House Cream Soda puts the pop into Avurudu celebrations island-wide

Sri Lanka’s favorite beverage, Elephant House Cream Soda, joined fans around the country in their Sinhala and Tamil New Year festivities. As the sponsor of an assortment of power packed events, Elephant House Cream Soda spread the Avurudu cheer from North to South and East to West.

Winning the hearts and minds of fans with an eclectic mix of events that promised to entertain the young and the young at heart alike, Elephant House Cream Soda kicked off the season with street promos, avurudu fests and musical shows in Kilinochchi and Batticaloa. This was followed by a 2 day avurudu fest in Kaduwela. The fun and frolic moved on to the cultural heartland of the country, with a musical show and avurudu fest in Polonnaruwa. The 2 week celebrations ended in a 3 day bash with a carnival and musical show at the Technical Collage Grounds and a musical show at the Thuraiyappa Ground in Jaffna.

Savoring the wonderfully smooth and refreshing taste and deliciously light and fun flavor of Elephant House Cream Soda, hundreds of animated fans took part in ‘avurudu kreeda’ or games and cultural acts with winners bagging several prizes from Elephant House Cream Soda.
