The first of their kind to be launched in Sri Lanka, the Smart Operation Panel (SOP) copiers - which made their international debut in February 2016 – will be comprised of Ricoh’s popular flagship range of MFPs in addition to its compact, yet highly capable MP 305+SPF black and white smart model.

In attendance at the August 16 launch event at The Blue, Hilton Colombo were two top-level representatives from Ricoh Asia Pacific PTE LTD, General Manager of Business Operation Division, Yasushi Takahashi making his first visit to Sri Lanka and Senior Manager of Business Operation Division, Avijit Mukherjee.

Currently the single largest available in the international market, the SOP runs on Ricoh’s design platform and is compatible with Android and iOS mobile devices. In addition, it is able to run multiple applications including an internet browser and productivity and efficiency tools, allowing for an unprecedented level of connectivity across devices.

Ricoh’s versatile Colour smart range is comprised of the MPC2004SP, MPC2504SP, MPC3004SP, MPC3504SP, MPC4504SP, MPC6004SP models, each displaying remarkable speed, quality output and utmost reliability.

The colour range of Ricoh MFPs is considered a true workhorse, capable of meeting the high output requirements of large-scale enterprises and boasting printing speeds that vary between an impressive 20 and 60 pages per minute.

Meanwhile, the super compact Black and White MP 305+SPF is a quiet, versatile and affordable MFP. Capable of delivering top-quality prints, faxes, copies and scans, at a steady clip of 30 pages per minute, the printer occupies a remarkable small A4-size footprint, despite being able to comfortably generate A3-size copies.

Packed with features and information to transform a user’s printing experience, the system is capable of connecting to any authorised device through Wi-Fi networks in order to provide users with remote access to printing functions from any LAN/WAN network, eliminating the need for physical infrastructure and storage devices to transfer documents to a printer.
