Hayleys PLC in a stock exchange filling announced the appointment of Ms. Kawshi Amarasinghe as the alternate Director (Non-executive) to Dhammika Perera with effect from 17th October 2019.

Kawshi Amarasinghe currently serves as Manager of International Business Development and CSR at Vallibel One PLC.  She is responsible in leading the Research and Strategic Business Development unit.

Prior to joining Vallibel One, Amarasinghe was attached to World Conference on Youth Secretariat at Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development in Sri Lanka, as a Manager.

Earlier in her career, she served as an Intern at Strategic Policy Division at Department of Community Safety in Queensland, Australia.

Amarasinghe earned a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from university Queensland in Brisbane , Australia and a specialization in French studies at university of Lausanne in Switzerland.

She received her certificate in management acceleration program from INSEAD Business School in Fontainebleau, France. In addition, she holds a certificate in Hotel Revenue Management from Cornell University in USA.

Amarasinghe have no relevant interest in shares issued by the company.
