ikman.lk Sri Lanka’s largest market place, recently unveiled their latest service ‘ikman delivers’, further enhancing the convenience for its customers when buying and selling a product.

ikman.lk now provides sellers with an opportunity to reach a wider audience and sellitems with no hassle,while buyers can receive a product directly to his/her doorstep without having to leave the comfort of their homes.The delivery has to be pre arranged by the buyer and seller with ikman.lk only acting as the delivery service provider ‘ikman delivers’ coordinates the process of pickup and delivery for a nominal fee as low as Rs. 200 per kilogram. Buyers and sellers have the option of negotiating which party would bear the courier charges and unlike other third party courier service providers, ikman.lk takes the responsibility of receiving the cash from the buyer and depositing it into the seller’s bank account. Buyers also get an opportunity to inspect the goods prior to the purchase, hence minimizing the risk of fraud.

This service is currently being offered within Colombo and its suburbs but plans are underway to expand across the island in the near future.
