Lankem Ceylon PLC says certain media reports on its acquiring a stock broking company named Navara Securities (Private) Limited is baseless.

Lankem Ceylon PLC Managing Director D.L. Vitharana further states that neither Lankem Ceylon PLC nor its related entity The Colombo Fort Land and Building PLC has any plans or intentions of acquiring regarding this issue.

When Ada Derana inquired regarding this issue recently, a Colombo Stock Market spokesman said nothing has been reported over such a broking company being acquired.
