A meeting between several top investors in the Colombo Stock Exchange and the State Minister of Money & Capital Markets and State Enterprise Reforms, Ajith Nivard Cabraal was held last weekend (06) to discuss the current situation.
The state minister said in a Twitter message that they had a productive meeting with prominent investors in the local Stock Market and they agreed to host a more formal Q&A forum to address their concerns in more detail.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nimal Perera, a leading HNI said that State Minister was mainly interested in hearing their thoughts on the broker credit issue, educating and protecting new retail investors, encouraging state funds to invest at CSE and maintaining regular dialogue with market stakeholders.
