World famous CNN correspondent Richard Quest instructed Sri Lanka not to waste a crisis.
With regard to the Easter Sunday tragedy Quest’s message was, “Never waste a crisis,” which is a modified version of the famous saying ‘Never waste a good crisis’ from former UK Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill.
Quest made this remark while speaking at the Cinnamon Future of Tourism 2019 summit which was held at the Cinnamon Grand Hotel Colombo on Monday (23).
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, Minister of Tourism Development, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunge, Chairman of the Tourist Board Kishu Gomes were among those who attended the conference.
Moreover, A large number of industry experts and businessmen also participated in the forum.
Quest is an English journalist and a CNN International Anchor. He is also CNN Business Editor at Large, based in New York City.
He anchors "Quest Means Business", the five-times-weekly business programme and fronts the CNN shows "Business Traveller","The Express" and "Quest's World of Wonder".
