Nimal Perera, a prominent Sri Lankan businessman and share market investor has stepped down from the positions he has held in several listed companies.

His letter of resignation from the post of Managing Director at Royal Ceramics PLC with effect from 07 Match 2017 has been accepted by the company’s board of directors.

Furthermore, from 08March 2017, Nimal Perera has resigned his posts as Director with several listed companies including Amaya Leisure, Kingsbury Hotel, Haycarb, Hayleys and Talawakelle Plantations Ltd.

The major shareholder in all these companies is the multi-billionaire Sri Lankan entrepreneur Dhammika Perera.
