Dr. Chris Nonis has relinquished his position as chairman of Agalawatte Plantations Limited effective 11 November.

Meanwhile, Raymond Kam Man Ng, Francis Lalith Fonseka, Senarath Chandula Jayalala Devendra and Ms. Shelendra Marianne Andrea Nonis Ranaweera also tendered their resignations from the Board of Directors of Agalawatte Plantations Ltd, effective on the same date.

Macwoods Plantations (Pvt) Limited sold 60 per cent of its stake at Agalawatte Plantations Ltd to Browns Limited on 14 July 2016.
