The objective of the Pensions Department is to create an economically and socially satisfied community of pensioners, said Director General of Pensions, Jagath Dias during a discussion with Ada Derana Biz 24x7.

The Director General added that steps are being taken to launch an online system for officials expecting to retire to register themselves for their pensions during the celebrations to mark National Pensioners’ Day.
