A decision has been made to allow the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and inquire into the issuance of treasury bonds to monitor the auction of treasury bills, which will be taking place today (1) .

The treasury bills to be auctioned are worth a total of  Rs.24 billlion and have been formulated by the Public Debt Department  of the Central bank in Sri Lanka.  The details of the treasury bills are as follows;
