Seylan gifts ‘Tikiri Accounts’ to Kegalle quintuplets

Dilini Rasangi Shyamini, a 29 year old mother from Hettimulla, Kegalle gave birth to Sri Lanka’s second set of quintuplets at the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital in the early hours of Thursday 02 July. The father of the two boys and three girls, Shilantha Wijepala, is an executive officer in the mercantile sector. 

In keeping with its national drive to help and encourage the children of Sri Lanka to save, Seylan Bank was the first bank to present the mother of the infants with five free SeylanTikiri accounts worth Rs. 50,000 soon after their birth. The presentation was made by Mr. Malith Kumarage, Senior Manager, Seylan Bank Kandy branch to the father of the infants.
