Offering children more reasons to brush their teeth twice a day, Sri Lanka’s No. 1 toothpaste, Signal, launched its “Dewarak Madinna Dewarak Dinanna” promotion recently. With two daily draws and a weekly draw, the campaign will see Signal rewarding consumers with laptops, tabs and cash prizes amounting to Rs.1 million.

“As part of our efforts in creating a cavity free Sri Lanka, we seek to encourage all Sri Lankans to brush their teeth twice a day through the “Dewarak Madinna Dewarak Dinanna” campaign. We’ll be conducting 2 daily draws to draw attention to the need to brush teeth two times a day, a practice that’s been proven to reduce the incidence of cavities by up to 50%. We are thrilled to offer consumers the opportunity to win these exciting prizes while building the habit of twice a day brushing” said Gayan Rupasinghe, Senior Brand Manager – Signal, Unilever Sri Lanka.

To win these exciting prizes, one simply needs to purchase a 120g or 160g tube of Signal Strong Teeth or a 120g tube of Signal Herbal and SMS the secret code printed inside the pack on or before 15th September 2015. Consumers can send multiple entries with unique codes to maximize their chance of winning. Winners will need to retain their packs with the winning numbers to collect their prizes once the results of the daily and weekly draws are announced.

Giving Sri Lankans the confidence to smile for over 5 decades, Signal has been committed to promoting healthy oral hygiene practices in the country as it works towards making Sri Lanka a cavity free nation. Earlier this year, the brand joined hands with schoolchildren in Kandy to take the pledge to brush teeth twice a day and raise awareness about it, setting the Guinness World Record for the most number of dental screenings conducted at one location, during a single day.
