Sri Lanka Insurance Motor Plus tied up with the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) to sponsor the Club’s January Monthly Medals programme.

The monthly tournament is open to both local and international golfers who may be in Sri Lanka at the time. Taking part in this event will have a major bearing on their international rankings.

The January event, which was sponsored by SLI Motor Plus, took place on the 5^th and 6^th of the month with the awards night happening on the second day. The event was an outstanding success with the participation of over 200 golfers from many parts of the world. Over 20 awards were presented to the winners of the tournament which included foreign tours and plaques.

SLI Motor Plus has been associated with many sporting events in the past including go-karting, motor racing and rugby as the company believes that sports is vital to build a healthy and holistic nation.
