New solution to support Sri Lanka’s SME sector

Softlogic Retail (Pvt) Ltd. a pioneering subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings PLC, together with Panasonic Systems Asia Pacific, recently launched the new KX-NS300, an IP-enabled PBX model with particular focus on Sri Lanka’s rapidly growing SME/SMB sector.

This follows a combined and continued effort by both Panasonic and Softlogic to focus on product differentiation coupled with developing innovative technological solutions in the Asia Pacific region.

The KX-NS300 is an effective IP PBX, packed with a range of offerings unparalleled in the communication space. It boasts of an in-built ACD (Basic Call Centre Function) to host a helpdesk, an in Skin Voice and Unified Communication (UC). The KX-NS300 also has advanced features and starts from 6 analogue trunks and 18 extensions, up to 192 extensions with an expansion unit. The product is rich in IP features such as mobile linking, integrated voice mail and email, instant messaging (chat) and presence information.

The Sri Lanka launch was held at the Colombo Hilton recently under the patronage of General Manager Panasonic India, Mr. Takeo Morishita, Manager Panasonic System Networks (Japan) Mr. Shuichi Takenouchi and Director Softlogic Office Automation Mr. Chaminda De Silva.

Among the visiting Panasonic officials were General Manager Panasonic Systems Asia Ms. Naoko Fukui, Assistant Manager (PSY) Mr. Kwek Chin Teng, Manager Panasonic India Mr. Priye Choudhary and Sales Engineer (PBX) Panasonic India Mr.Ganesh Bhavikatti.

Present on the occasion were also more than 50 Top corporate clients and 50 dealers of Softlogic Office Automation who had the opportunity of experiencing a live technology demonstration by Japanese representatives from Panasonic and a chance to further engage with the solution which is now available in Sri Lanka.
