The Employees’ Trust Fund (EPF) and Sri Lanka Insurance took steps today (19 January) to divest their shares at Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC.
Accordingly, 1,981,270 (1.77%) shares owned by ETF, which is the 5th largest shareholder of Royal Ceramics Lanka PLC, and 1,353,186 (1.22%) shares of the 9th largest shareholder, Sri Lanka Insurance – Life were traded at Rs. 125 per share.
At this instance, there was a cross trading of 5.5 million shares of Royal Ceramics at Rs. 125 each.
Stock market sources say this particular transaction had been by a foreign investor.
