A total of 124,551 tourists arrived in Sri Lanka during June 2026, according to the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).

With the latest arrivals, the total number of tourist arrivals to the country for the year has reached 1,146,573.

In comparison, 138,241 tourists visited Sri Lanka in June 2025, indicating a 9.9% decline in tourist arrivals in June 2026 compared to the same month last year.

Indian visitors accounted for the largest share of arrivals in June 2026, with 43,423 tourists, representing 35% of the total monthly arrivals.

The United Kingdom ranked as the second-largest source market with 10,474 visitors, followed by China in third place with 8,710 tourists.
