The starting of daily trading at the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) was delayed by around 10 minutes this morning (27 July) due to an error in the transaction system.

Hence, the 9.00 am to 9.30 am open auction call session has been extended by another 10 minutes to 9.40 am.

However, daily trading began at 9.40 am.

The CSE opens transactions from 9.30 am to 2.30 pm while the period for pre-orders is from 9.00 am to 9.30 am.
