Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications services provider with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa, recently announced the best IDD rates to calls made to as many as nine countries in the Middle East with a wide range of attractive value added services this Ramadan season.

Pre-paid customers could now enjoy the lowest IDD rates simply by recharging their account with a sum of Rs. 155 that could be used for international calls such as Cyprus, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar.

In an effort to enliven the celebration of the Ramadan season, Airtel Lanka will also offer its users a wide array of services through the ‘Islamic Devotional Service portal’ providing facilities such as Islamic prayers, Quran verses, Islamic wallpapers and other religious content, prayer time alerts via SMS and Islamic prayer welcome tunes that could be accessed easily by dialing 55621 on any Airtel connection.

Browsing through the portal is completely free while customers will only be charged according to the service they choose. This service will be available till the end of the Ramazan season.
