Hilton Colombo is bringing back one of the city's most enduring celebrations, as Oktoberfest returns for its 33rd year from 29 October to 7 November 2026 at the Sports Center Arena. Presented in partnership with Sampath Cards and Emirates, this 10-night celebration brings together a hearty German buffet, flowing brews, live music and the spirited traditions that have made Oktoberfest at Hilton Colombo a fixture on Colombo's social calendar for more than three decades.

First introduced at Hilton Colombo in 1993, Oktoberfest has grown into a much-loved annual tradition, bringing generations of guests together for lively evenings inspired by Bavarian culture. This year's celebration stays true to that spirit with an authentic German spread featuring generous, comforting flavors, complemented by flowing brews and the unmistakable sound of an authentic Oompah band setting the tone for each night.

Beyond the food and music, the festivities will keep the Sports Center Arena buzzing with the brew drinking competition and a line-up of traditional German games that invite guests to join in the fun. From long communal tables and lively music to friendly competition and plates made for sharing, the experience brings the convivial spirit of Oktoberfest to the heart of Colombo, backed by Hilton's signature hospitality.

Oktoberfest will run from 7:00 pm to midnight from Sunday to Thursday, and from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am on Friday and Saturday. Early Bird buffet passes, available for the first 100 payments per event day, are priced at LKR 7,888 nett from Sunday to Thursday and LKR 8,888 nett on Friday and Saturday. General buffet passes start from LKR 8,888 nett from Sunday to Thursday, and LKR 9,888 nett on Friday and Saturday, while VIP passes start from LKR 10,888 nett from Sunday to Thursday and LKR 11,888 nett on Friday and Saturday.
