The US Ambassador to Sri Lanka Alaina B. Teplitz, called on Foreign Minister Dinesh Gunawardena on 02 February 2021.

State Minister for Regional Co-operation Tharaka Balasuriya also joined this meeting held at the Foreign Ministry.

During the meeting a number of issues, including diplomatic and economic matters between Sri Lanka and the US that are vital to both countries were discussed.
