MTD Walkers PLC (Stock Code: KAPI.N) in disclosure to Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on today (14^th September 2018) said that at present the company has not engaged or entered into any agreement to sell a strategic stake in Walkers Colombo Shipyard private limited neither to inject fresh capital in the company.

Denying recent media reports appeared in some print media publications MTD Walkers further said that the management committed and continuously exploring any opportunities to streamline business activities to improve profitability thus creating value to stake holders.
