Cargo Vessel MV Beijing Bridge makes maiden call at Colombo Port’s Jaya Container Terminal

A large Cargo vessel MV Beijing Bridge under its AGI Service has recently made the maiden call at the Port of Colombo’s Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) controlled Jaya Container Terminal (JCT), recent reports outlined.

Accordingly in order to mark the vessel’s maiden call at the Port a plaque exchange has been held between the Additional Managing Director of SLPA, Upali De Zoysa and the Captain of MV Beijing Bridge Capt. Rodie Barcoma.

Vessel Beijing Bridge (IMO: 9292230, MMSI: 356413000) is a container ship built in 2005 and currently sailing under the flag of Panama. Ship is built by HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO. LTD.- ULSAN, SOUTH Korea. Formerly it was also known as BEIJING BRIDGE, BEIJING BRI, VANCOUVER BRIDGE. It's gross tonnage is 54,519 tonness.
