HNB launches the Prestige Prime card tied to a range of value-added services

Facilitating access to a diverse range of value-added services and products at discounted rates with bundled free services for its valued leasing and home loan customers, HNB announced the launch of the Prestige Prime credit card.

Enabled through a groundbreaking partnership with 12 merchant partners across the island, the Prestige Prime card is the first of its kind in the Sri Lankan market and was launched at a special ceremony hosted at HNB Towers with the participation of HNB Chief Operating Officer Dilshan Rodrigo, HNB Deputy General Manager- Retail Banking Sanjay Wijemanne, VISA Country Manager Anthony Watson, senior members of HNB management, merchant partners and customers.

Speaking at the launch of the new card, Wijemanne said: “HNB has always been committed to our mission of driving up as much value as possible for our customers. With the launch of Prestige Prime, we are proud to have partnered with some of the most reputed merchant networks in the island. This represents another bold step in our efforts to ensure that every Sri Lankan can achieve their dreams – be it building a new home for their family, or buying a vehicle. By helping them to fulfil their most pressing needs.”

Available to all leasing customers free of charge, Prestige Prime offers cardholders tailor- made payment options as well as a free insurance cover with the most attractive premiums from HNB Assurance, while housing loan customers have access to secure payment plans. Notably, the card is also made to be as versatile as possible, meaning that customers can also use the credit card to complete day to day transactions.

“As Sri Lanka’s largest retail bank, we have a large and growing base of customers in all parts of the island, and the launch of our Prestige Prime card is, therefore, an effort to ensure that we do not leave anyone out of these amazing offers. That is why we made a concerted effort to partner with several regional merchants,” HNB Leasing Senior Manager, Niluka Amarasinghe noted.

Automobile merchants such as United Motors Lanka PLC, Sunlanka Auto Traders PVT Ltd, Hybrid Hub- Edirisinghe Brothers, U&H Wheel Service (Pvt) Ltd., Care Point (Pvt) Ltd, OEM Spare Part (Pvt) Ltd., Samarasinghe Wind Screen, Tudawe Trading Co Pvt Ltd., Douglas & Sons, Dimo- Retail & Auto-Lab and Ideal Group (Pvt) Ltd. will offer HNB customers attractive discounts and free value-added services.

Additionally, the first 100 customers are further entitled to a 50% discount of the annual membership fee of the Automobile Association of Sri Lanka, which also comes with its own range of perks and benefits.

Home loan customers are offered discounted rates for housing services and products such as generators, elevators and cleaning services, building materials and pest control services at Ceramic Homes (Pvt) Ltd., Silvas Furniture (Pvt) Ltd., M. M. Norbhoy & Co., Three Singhe Industries (Pvt) Ltd., Gismo International and Ranjanas Ceramic Pvt Ltd.
